How exactly does this work?
There will be five nominees in each category. Each category's top five with the finishing order will be revealed over a whole day at the following times:
9am: 5th
11am: 4th
1pm: 3rd
3pm: 2nd
5pm: 1st
All times listed are in AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
The days these will be revealed are the:
2nd of December 2023
4th of December 2023
6th of December 2023
8th of December 2023
10th of December 2023
12th of December 2023
14th of December 2023
So tune in on these days at these times to find out who's landed a spot in each category!
The Category Criteria
The Best English Album of 2023
-The album must be sung/rapped in full English
-It must be released between and including 1st January 2023 and 1st December 2023.
-Artists may be any ethnicity, gender, age, or from any company.
-The same artist cannot be nominated more than once for this category.
-Must be longer than 5 songs to be considered an album.
Best Female K-pop Album of 2023
-Must sing/rap in Korean during the album; English songs may be present but there must be Korean music.
-Must be released between and including 1st of January 2023 and 1st of December 2023.
-Artists may be any ethnicity, age, or from any company.
-K-pop covers any Korean music genre: K-rock, K-rap, K-pop, K-hiphop, K-r&b, etc;
-The same artist cannot be nominated more than once for this category
-Must be an all female group.
-Must be 4 songs or longer to be considered an album.
Best Male K-pop Album of 2023
-Must sing/rap in Korean during the album; English songs may be present but there must be Korean music.
-Must be released between and including 1st of January 2023 and 1st of December 2023.
-Artists may be any ethnicity, age, or from any company.
-K-pop covers any Korean music genre: K-rock, K-rap, K-pop, K-hiphop, K-r&b, etc;
-The same artist cannot be nominated more than once for this category
-Must be an all male group.
-Must be 4 songs or longer to be considered an album.
Best Female K-pop Choreography of 2023
-Choreographies will be picked within the K-pop industry; either from a group's song choreography or performed by a k-pop artist/s.
-The performer/s and choreographer/s will be credited when possible; in the event the Choreographer or Performer cannot be contacted or found they will be owed the “NUTKIN”, and will receive it either when found or when they contact.
-Artists may be any ethnicity, age, or from any company.
-Must be either a female soloist or an all female group.
-Must be released between and including 1st of January 2023 and 1st of December 2023.
-The same artist cannot be nominated more than once for this category
Best Male K-pop Choreography of 2023
-Choreographies will be picked within the K-pop industry; either from a group's song choreography or performed by a k-pop artist/s.
-The performer/s and choreographer/s will be credited when possible; in the event the Choreographer or Performer cannot be contacted or found they will be owed the “NUTKIN”, and will receive it either when found or when they contact me.
