BEST MALE K-POP ALBUM OF 2023 4th PLACE

HOUSE OF TRICKY : HOW TO PLAY is the second EP from boy group xikers, and was released on the 2nd of August 2023.

This was an incredible album and I love it so much. This is only the second full release from this group, with debuting this year. I didn't pay much attention to their debut however by the time their second release came around, I had fully gotten into ATEEZ's music properly (I'd heard it and loved it but took a while till I listened properly), and xikers is from the same company as them, KQ entertainment, which is a, relatively, small company, so it was easy for me to hear about xikers.

Every single song on this is an absolute master piece and I love this one even more than their first release, even though I absolutely love "TRICKY HOUSE". If I had to pick a favourite song it would have to be "DO or DIE", which is just such a fun song, but I can't help but smile every time I hear any song from this album.

The rapping by these guys, and the vocals are incredible, not to mention their dancing is on another level. This is 100% my favourite current rookie group and I cannot wait to see what they do in the future. I would imagine they will only get better, when they are this good and they've only just started out.

Overall absolutely incredible. A nice bonus is the fact every song is over 3 minutes long at least which I am beyond happy to see, when songs are get shorter and shorter to the point some are 2 and a half minutes long, which I think personally is way to short for a song.

They 100% deserve a place in the best male K-pop release of 2023 category, and I hope you will check out their music. If I had a Rookie Of The Year award it would go to these guys because the music is just amazing.
