BEST FEMALE K-POP ALBUM OF 2023 3rd PLACE

Born to be XX is the 2nd mini album from girl group KISS OF LIFE. Containing all new songs, this album was released on the 8th of November 2023. I did review this album when it was released here's what I said then:

Overview: This was a really good album. Again the mixing of slower songs and quicker songs were really nice. Their voices were super pretty. I honestly wasn’t expecting very much from this because I hadn’t really listened to any of their music. I went in expecting all songs to sound like “Says It” and then “Bad News” was just so good and so something I would listen to all the time I was really pleasantly surprised. "

And you know what? I stand by what I said these songs are amazing. Every song seems to have grown on me unintentionally.

Adding onto my first review I've noticed "Nobody Knows" really sounds like a 2nd gen K-pop song which I really like. I love the sound of 2nd gen girl groups so while maybe this song wasn't one of my top songs on the first listen it's definitely grown on me.

"Bad News" is still may favourite track but a close second would be "My 808". This whole album sounds different to much of what girl groups have been releasing lately and honestly it seems like a breath of fresh air, or a sip of apple juice among water. I'm not sure if that metaphor worked honestly, but hopefully you got I was trying to compliment this album.
