BEST MALE K-POP SOLO RELEASE OF 2023 4th PLACE

SHALALA is the first mini album (EP) by rapper Taeyong, a member of NCT. SHALALA was released on the 5th of June 2023.

I love listening to this because the title track "SHALALA" is super fun and catchy. The storyline in the music video is done really well too because I can follow it and if you've read my previous posts you'd know I can't follow music video storylines, unlesss they are well explained.

Also the B-sides to this album are actually really nice. I wasn't sure if they would all be similar to 'SHALALA" but they are actually very different with being slower songs and feeling very chill but you can still kind of bounce to them if you wanted.

I also really like Taeyong's voice and style, it feels quite unique. I like how you can also hear some NCT-like sounds in the title track too, but still feels different and unique to Taeyong.
