My Top K-pop Songs On Spotify of 2023 Part 2

Hello everyone,

So this is part 2 of showing you all some of my top 100 songs from spotify wrapped this year. You can check out the first part here. This is a countdown so my top song of this year is at the end of this list. Let's begin!

49. Super Bowl by Stray Kids

So I've put the Japanese version here because the original doesn't have a music video, but the most played was the original version which is English, but the Japanese version is great too. I love this whole album though so I'm not surprised this is here.

48. All Night by (G)I-DLE

One of the best (G)I-DLE songs from that new album. It is so fun and honestly so sad that we never got a music video for this song because it would have been great.

47. What You waiting For by JEON SOMI

My favourite song by JEON SOMI hands down. I love the instrumental at the beggining and it's all just so catchy.

46. Goblin (favourite Boys) by A.C.E

I love this song so much. A super hype song that is really fun and would wake me up in the morning.

45. 3RACHA by 3RACHA of Stray Kids

I love Bangchans aussie accent in his verses, as another aussie I approve, it sounds great. Also the amount of times me and my friend say "WHY YOU MAD BRUH?" to each other is insane.

42. Love shot by EXO

Is it any wonder that this iconic masterpeice is on this list? I don't even have anything to say honestly.

41. I GOT IT by HAN of Stray Kids

I love HAN's music so not surprised to see it here. Maybe surprised to see it higher than "Alien" but I do really enjoy listening to K-rap with it being on my K-rap playlist it would contribute a lot.

40. Kick It by NCT127

38. Wave by ATEEZ

I love ATEEZ's music a lot and this was actually I think the first song I had heard of theirs. Needless to say I love the song and am so glad I had come across ATEEZ, my playlists would be so much more boring without them.

37. HEYDAY (prod. Czaer) by 3RACHA of Stray Kids

A masterpeice and I love it.

36. LIMBO (Korean Version) by JUN

One of the best beat drops I've heard. Actually for the longest time I didn't even realize he was a member of SEVENTEEN. I listen to SEVENTEEN a lot but I don't really know all the members-there's a lot of them, so I'm learning them through their solo releases. I'm doing the same for NCT and it's working. But anyway I do really like listening to this song. Also his other song "PSYCHO" is so good. I can't wait for more music from him!

34. Pirate King by ATEEZ

I love this song a lot. One of the best debut songs I've ever heard. This along with "Siren" by P1Harmony, "Hellevator" by Stray Kids, and "TRICKY HOUSE" by xikers are the most incredible debut's in my opinion. As I'm sitting here I could probably think of more but these are top teir.

33. ITEM by Stray Kids

I love this song from 5 STAR. It took a bit to grow on me, I'll admit, but once it grew on me I listened to it on repeat. Sadly no music video for this wonderful song but the song is really good.

32. Sugar Rush Ride by TOMORROW X TOGETHER

I LOVED the TEMPTATION chapter by TXT. Also another one of the best anti-drops I've heard. It was a very different concept too but I actually really enjoyed it.

30. Ти by MEOLOVIN

One of my favourite Russian language songs. I'm mildly surprised to see it on here but then again is is a really good songs. Very catchy. Also I do not understand Russian in the least so maybe the lyrics are awful, I don't know, but as someone who it sounds like random sounds to, it's a good song.

29. Hall of Fame by Stray Kids

One of the best songs from 5 STAR. I love the "SHAKING THE INDUSTRY, QUAKING REALITY, MAKING IT ICONIC" part but who doesn't really.

28. HOT by SEVENTEEN

A personal favourite of mine. The dance just looks so fun as well. I kinda wanna learn it.

27. TOMBOY by (G)I-DLE

My favourite (G)I-DLE song, mainly because it was the reason I found that they existed. such a good song, I'm actually kinda surprised it isn't higher on the playlist but regardless I really love it.

26. SIREN by P1Harmony

I love this song, and the dance. Again one of those best debuts ever. P1Harmony songs are just so good though, like they don't have a single bad song. Also warning the music video does have flashing lights in, so if you are sensitve to that please don't watch and maybe listen to it on spotify instead.

25. Thunderous by Stray Kids

There really isn't a song I dislike from Stray Kids - everything is always amazing.

23. Ruby by WOOZI

This time I actually knew WOOZI was a member of SEVNTEEN because that's how I found this song. It's a really good song, but I love everything by SEVENTEEN and it's members so I'm not surprised.

22. Not Today by BTS

My favourite BTS song of all time. Another dance I want to learn sometime, it just looks really fun.

21. S-Class by Stray Kids

At this point every song from 5 STAR is on this playlist. I'm not surprised though-it is really good. I wonder whether ROCKSTAR will make it onto next years because if I'm honest I like that even more.

20. Killing Me by CHUNG HA

My favourite CHUNG HA song. It's just a really good song.

18. WOO by Ash-B

It's very short but it's just so good that I didn't even notice it was so short. I really like listening to Korean Rap so that would be why this is here.

17. Slump (English ver.) by Stray Kids

So this is the Japanese version but I'd listened to the english version. This was actually taken in one take so that's impressive. But anyway I really love this song, the lyrics are really nice too.

16. HOME;RUN by SEVENTEEN

You know whats annoying? The fact that this song was SO CLOSE to being 17 on this list, it's very sad. But anyway this is a really good song. My friend really likes this song, so he plays it a LOT, so I think that's probaably why it's on here, because he likes to borrow my spotify sometimes.

15. BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS) by ATEEZ

I love this song so much. I really enjoyed this comback and I couldn't stop singing it. It just makes me smile everytime it comes on.

14. O.O by NMIXX

I love NMIXX's first songs. I haven't really enjoyed the more recent stuff as much but this is really good. It's one of those things people either love or hate, and I love it.

13. TOPLINE (Feat. Tiger JK) by Stray Kids

My absolute favourite from the album. It's just so good and I listen to it a lot-except thats quite apparent I suppose considering it's on this list.

12. No Rules by TOMORROW X TOGETHER

I love this song. I say that for every song on here though. The knee slide is impressive though, especially when you notice that Beomgyu is doing it with shots on not long pants. How is his knees skin even still intact?

11. Rover by KAI

I love EXOs music and the members solo music so I was really excited when this came out. Also the dance has literally been everywhere-it's ridiculous.

10. ROCKSTAR (Feat. Paloalto) by RAVI

Great song but you know wat I wanna know? Why on earth did he have a jacket buried in a box? Like whenever he's cold h's gotta go dig it up? So strange. I'm kinda surprised to see this here I guess but I do really like this song.

9. CHEESE by Stray Kids

One of the best songs I've heard that disses all the haters. They reference all the lyrics that people have hated them for and I just love it so much.

8. LOVE ME LIKE by OMEGA X

More people should listen to OMEGA X because thier music is really good. I love this song a lot and have listened to it so much. Another dance I wanna learn. At this point I just wanna learn everything.

7. GOTTSADAE (가라사대) by BewhY

I'm not surpised this is here but kinda surprised to see it so high up. I didn't realise I listened to Korean rap this much. This songs just makes you feel really cool though.

6. Devil by the Window by TOMORROW X TOGETHER

Such a good song. It actually took a long time for me to even realise this was in complete english. I'm so used to not being able to understand songs lyrics, that I just listen to the sounds now, I don't register that I understand what they are saying.

5. i hate to admit (인정하기 싫어) by Bang Chan of Stray Kids

I actually leasrned this song on piano. I love this song so much. His voice is just so pretty. It's still impressive this song is pretty much just him and a piano, not to mention he did the aong all himself-lyrics, composing, arranging, and actually singing. The dude needs an award of some kind for this song.

4. BERMUDA TRIANGLE (Feat. Crush, DEAN) by ZICO

Such a good song. yet another Korean rap song in these top tiers of songs. Also for reference I've listened to 3,554 songs and 1,873 artists, so I had to listen to it a lot for it to be here. Not mad though-this is a really good song. Doing this is making me want to revisit my Korean rap playlists. I know what I'll be listening to today.

3. Queencard by (G)I-DLE

Am I surprised to see this here?

No.

Will I be surprised to see it next year?

Also no.

2. Mirror Mirror (Feat. Changbin of Stray Kids) By F.HERO x MILLI

I listened to this mostly for how amazing Changbins rap sounded, then MILLI's rap that followed shortly after. Such a good song, I really want Changbin to collaborate with more rappers-he sounds so good.

1. New Thing (Prod. ZICO) (Feat. HOMIES) by ZICO, HOMIES

So I know there was a whole thing with a choreographer to this song, stole ATEEZ's dance move from Say My Name, which obviously I don't agree with, but when you take that out, this is a really good song. I'm kinda surprised this was my top song if I'm honest but this was really good. This MAMA stage video is a bit different to the one on Spotify but you'll get the idea anyway.
