My top K-pop songs on Spotify of 2023 part 1

Hello everyone,

So nothing was really released over this week so instead this time I will share with you some of my top 100 songs I listened to this year from the Spotify wrapped. Most of these songs weren't released in 2023 but I listened to them a lot. Also not all of the songs in my top 100 are here because they aren't all interesting or are there by chance because they are on many playlists but wasn't really chosen to listen to by me.

Regardless lets begin, this will be a countdown with my top song that was played at the end of this list.

100. Pink Venom by BLACKPINK

Honestly not surprised to see this here, I do enjoy BLACKPINK's music quite a bit. And I was learning the dance at one point so I would have played it a lot during that time.

99. Gashina by SUNMI

My favourite song by SUNMI, so again not very surprised to see it. It's pretty catchy so that also contributes to my listening. I really enjoy catchy music that's upbeat or high energy, you'll see as this list goes on.

98. DOMINO by Stray Kids

I love this song of theirs so much. The NOEASY album is definitely my favourite album of theirs and this is a really good song.

96. PARANOIA by KANGDANIEL

The first song I ever heard of KANG DANIEL actually. Amazing song. I'm surprised this is low on the list but I found it last year in November so most of the listening would have been then and December I suppose. Very good song though, I highly reccomend.

92. One In A Billion by ENHYPEN

When I say I was obsessed when this song first came out, I mean it. I'm not surprised in any regard this song is here because I listened to this so much. The guitar riff at the start was always in my head and then the last "one in a billion" at the end of the song sounds so good. Overall a great song.

91. WIN by ATEEZ

Everytime I was tired in the morning this was one of THE go to songs because it's impossible to listen to this and not immediatly want to jump around and just get really hyped up. I love ATEEZ's music a lot so I think there is going to be even more of their songs on this list.

90. MAGO by GFRIEND

The best GFRIEND song, argue with the wall. It has such magical vibes and I love the outfits in the music video. It's really such a good song.

88. Can't You See Me? by TOMORROW X TOGETHER

Another great song by TXT. They always release good music. That's the first time I saw the music videeo and it was insane. I'm still not totally sure whatI just saw. Murder or a food fight? But regardless of the strange music video it's a good song.

87. Red Flavour by Red Velvet

I loved this Red Velvet era. Such good songs and I love this one. And the dance is so satisfying to watch. I couldn't explain why they are interviewing fruit in the music video but it sounds good so whatever. Honestly I never really pay attention to music videos.

86. Lemonade by NCT127

Nothing like a good noisy NCT song, especially NCT127. It's one of those songs people either love or hate and I love it. Please ignore the sneaker squeaks in the video-it doesn't have a music video sadly.

85. SSICK by Stray Kids

For the first time I'm surprised to see a song here. I mean as I mentioned before the NOEASY album is amazing but I didn't think I had listened to it that much. Anyway it's a good song.

84. Oh My God by (G)I-DLE

I love this song so much. THE BEST anti-drop I have ever heard. I don't even have words, this is just a really good song.

81. Gods Menu by Stray Kids

Love this song, and the music video, and the dance. The whole this is perfection. Another song I would play when I'm tired because this wakes you up. I love the first two opening raps a lot. Also every time I cook, yes I do say "cooking like a chef, I'm a five star michellin".

78. Rock With You by SEVENTEEN

One of my favourite SEVENTEEN songs. It's just so much fun and supper upbeat too.

77. Side Effects by Stray Kids

Stray Kids have such good noise music songs and this is one of them. I also learnt the whole dance to this song last year which is something I'm quite proud of, as it was the first dance I learnt. Early stray kids music is also just really good.

76. Golden Hour by MARK

I love Mark's voice and I can't wait for more music from him as a solo artist. The lyrics aren't very meaningful but it's fun so I'm not too worried.

75. ANTIFRAGILE by LE SSERAFIM

While I 100% do love this song I actually think it's on here because I learnt the dance. While this song is really good it actually starts to get annoying, especially when you learn the dance and listen to the same 20 seconds over and over for hours. Well done to the members because they would have to listen to this song so much. despite this I do like the song.

73. Freak by ZICO

Best song with a dystopian storyline. In fact I haven't heard any others with a dystopian storyline so maybe it's not very fair but regardless I like this song. This is my favourite ZICO song.

72. Daydream by j-hope

I really enjoy j-hopes solo music and this is probably my favourite because it's just really catchy but also chill, but also upbeat, but also hype all at the same time. It's a hard feat to do but he did it, so well done j-hope.

70. BIBI Vengance by BIBI

This song is so good. You just feel so cool when listening to it.

69. Run BTS by BTS

Again I love my energetic songs and you can't say this isn't energetic. Honestly I didn't realise how much I listend to BTS because I looked through the playlist and there is a lot more of them then I thought. I have very specific favourite songs from them though which I really enjoy.

68. Blue Hour by TOMORROW X TOGETHER

Such a good TXT song. I listen to a lot of TXT so I'm not surprised they are here. Okay wait I was watching the music video and there is an extra part of the song? Why is it not on Spotify? It's such a good part? Also I have to say they are very brave dancing on green grass in ALL WHITE? Like how did the outfits not get a thousand grass stains on them? Impressive really.

67. Under Cover by A.C.E

The first A.C.E song I heard, which lead me to listen to their other stuff. I love this song so much and is another really hype song I'd listen to. Listening to all these songs again brings back memories of this year and it was a really good year for the songs I found.

66. MIROH by Stray Kids

I'm repeating myself but it bears repeating-Stray Kids make such good noise music, and I love noise music-especially in K-pop. This was another one of those songs I'd listen when I'm tired. Who needs coffee when you have K-pop?

65. Boy In Luv by BTS

Okay I don't know why they named one song "Boy In Luv" and "Boy With Luv". DO YOU KNOW HOW CONFUSING THAT IS? This was the first BTS song I'd heard that I liked. I don't really like the lyrics a whole lot, but it's energetic and catchy, which is what I do like.

64. We Lost the Summer by TOMORROW X TOGETHER

Best song to come out of the whole pandemic. I haven't heard another song about the pandemic sound so upbeat yet so sad once you pay attention to the lyrics.

63. Utopia by ATEEZ

One of the best ATEEZ songs in my opinion, this and "Wave" are some of my favourite summer songs. The song doesn't have a Music Video so I have added a fan created one because I think it fits the song really well.

61. Pretty Savage by BLACKPINK

My favourite BLACKPINK song. It's just super fun.

60. KNOCK DOWN by Xdinary Heroes

I love Xdinary heroes music and I'm not surprised to see this song here in the least. If you want to check them out I really reccomend their new album Livelock. It's great.

58. JUST BREATHE by SKY-HI feat. 3RACHA of Stray kids

Such a good song. I'm a little surprised to see it on this list if I'm honest because I don't remember listening to it a whole lot but I suppose I must of. I really like the song though.

57. Alien by HAN of Stray Kids

I LOVE THIS SONG A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT. It's such a good song a beautiful lyrics. I saw this fan made illustrated music video and the art style is so cute. I also really love the way HAN's voice sounds. I'm surprised it isn't higher up but regardless this is an amazing song please listen to it.

56. SOLO by JENNIE of BLACKPINK

This is a really good song. Super catchy and fun. I love all the BLACKPINK solo songs so no surprise it's in my Spotify Wrapped.

55. Black Eye by VERNON of SEVENTEEN

I really like VERNON's solo music and I desperately want more because it's just so good. I've listened to this song so much and I'm once again surprised a song isn't higher. regardless I love this song.

53. MANIAC by Stray Kids

A great song by Stray Kids, need I say again that their noise music is on another level. This was such a cool release and I loved the whole album (mini album).

51. Beautiful Liar

Fun fact, did you know Monsta X was the first group I ever bought an album of? Another fun fact, it was an embarrisingly long time till I realised K-pop music had albums? I don't know what I thought but it was a long time till I realised they existed. I didn't buy this album the song is from, but I do really like the song.

50. I'm Not Cool by HyunA

I love this song a lot. I say this with every song but I feel that's obvious when it's on this list.
