Hello everyone,

Welcome to Album review Sunday. Each Sunday I review the albums that came out over the week and share my thoughts with you. However this week is late because I forgot about posting because a lot happened lol.

This week was a bit disappointing if I'm honest. But first off a bit of a disclaimer from me:

DISCLAIMER: I do not know that much about these artists as individuals and I do not personally know if they are bad people. I am reviewing JUST their music and what I think of their album. I do not necessarily support them. If you know something about an artist I have reviewed that you feel I should be aware of please feel free to contact me. I listen to all the music on headphones so I would recommend you to do the same. I do not listen to or rate explicit songs as I feel you can find everything needed in clean songs. All reviews are based off my first time listen and what I was thinking at the time, and I do not always know the story behind the song or the lyrics.

THE RATING SYSTEM: The overall album will be rated with a system of 0.5/10 being the worst I’ve ever heard and 10/10 being one of my favourite albums. The individual songs will be rated with a 0.5 stars being the worst and 5 stars being one of my favourites. I take into account beat, lyrics and whether it is something I would personally choose to listen to.

Overview: If I’m completely honest I’m actually disappointed. I expected better from ITZY but I actually didn’t really like these songs. I did love YEJI and RYUJINs solo songs but other than that this was a major skip album for me. It’s sad because I’ve always loved ITZY's music but lately I’ve not been very impressed. Maybe it’s just me though because all I’ve seen is people praising this comeback.

Overview: This was everything I expected from a OnlyOneOf release. I never enjoy their lyrics a whole lot but regardless they always sound great. I actually enjoyed dOpamine more than I expected. I also enjoyed gravity. They have very nice voices. I have decided not to put the music video here because there were way too many missing shirts, but feel free to go find it yourself if seeing shirtless men doesn’t bother you.

Overview: If I’m completely honest, I’m a little disappointed. I enjoyed their other music a lot but this just wasn’t that enjoyable. The songs just kind of sounded all over the place. However I’m watching RU-PUM PUMs music video now, which is my first relisten, and it’s already growing on me. Maybe these will grow on me with time. These just weren’t a favourite from first listen. I’ll give them a few more listens so they have the chance. I also feel so bad because this is exactly the music I love but it’s also not? It’s all very confusing for me right now, I’m having an identity crisis guys. Well, I’ll move on to the next album now.

Overview: SF9 doesn’t disappoint like some others this week. I love these songs. These sounds cohesive, and don’t have random grating noises in my ears. I will visit these songs so much. It is romance based so like not the best in that sense, but the way it sounds is honestly the most important thing to me. Even if I love the lyrics, if it doesn’t sound good I’ll never listen to it. Also is it just me that thinks its weird Dawon got a solo but the other members didn’t? I’m not in the fandom so perhaps I’m missing something, so if you know please share, that’d be great!

FAVE SONG: Literally impossible to pick a favourite, I love these all very equally on a first listen.

LEAST FAVE: Superconductor because it feels really sped up and the words are all cut off a little? It’s a little annoying to listen to because if it wasn’t for that this would be a great song.

Also for those who do not know I have a playlist where I add the most recent releases that I enjoyed on there. I’m not able to review everything that is released, for example there are 3 albums I couldn’t get to this week by B1A4, WAKER, and ALL(H)OURS, but with this playlist it means I can still share the releases I didn’t get to reviewing.
