Secrets of Dumbledore review

Hey everyone,

So last night I watched The Secrets Of Dumbledore and I have opinions guys. Many. (Now to be fair it has been at least 2 years since I watched the other 2 movies.) Warning this will have spoilers. Skip to the bottom to skip the spoilers.

First off what is with movies series just turning all dark. Like not story line dark but literally dark. You can barely see what is going on because it's so dark. I don't understand but all movies do it! Like have you seen Batman? Harry potter? Star wars a little even.

Besides that the story just made no sense. You know the scene where Credence is all like That's not a real heart seeing creature thing? Well Newt then proceeds to take AGES to get out the real one, foiling Grindelwald's plan. Why on earth was Grindelwald just stood there staring as this unfolded? He is the "leader", has hundreds of followers there, military wizard guys and can see the future and he has taken out entire Aurora armies, and he is just going to stand and watch? He could of just killed them all within minutes, established dominance and proceeded to go through with his evil plan. And if there is a reason he couldn't of done that, it didn't say or explain very clearly.

And if no one could know the plan so Grindelwald can't tell the future then enlighten me on why Dumbledore and the random other woman who's name I can't remember seemed to know everything? The theory was I guess so many people knew different things that was happening but there are like 7-8 billion people and not all of them would know or have the same theory on what is going to happen so if people just need to have different ideas in their head for what is happening to confuse him-well people already do. So that made no sense.

Also I understand there are reasons but I didn't know who anyone was half the time as the actors had changed. And I was trying to figure out who anyone was and whether they were important, which I found frustrating. And they could have least tried to make Grindelwald look like he did in the other movies.

And the end scene makes no sense. Like for the first time a wizard and Muggle are getting married and Dumbledore doesn't want to be there? Like how out of character is that?! (hint: very). Even if he is all sad he could of gone in and been there. Like I know he is all sad and like "oh no my ex-boyfriend guy doesn't love me and he's evil. I am so sad." but the Dumbledore I know would of wanted to be there regardless. And it is all "symbolic" with him walking down the street like the beginning of Harry Potter but he wouldn't of be walking down that street for 60 odd years waiting for someone he doesn't even know is going to exist.

Overall I give it a 3/10 because I love the creatures and Newts such a good character.

SKIP TO HERE IF YOU WANT TO AVOID SPOILERS

Onto other news, I have been listening to Sea Shanties on Spotify. Bizarre choice of music to listen to I know but they are fun to sing to. I have written a list below of some fun ones if you guys want to listen to them.

Wellerman by The longest Johns

Drunken Sailor from Assassins Creed IV Black Flag

The Rocky Road To Dublin by The High Kings

Valhalla Calling by Miracle Of Sound

Don't Forget Your Old Shipmates from Assassins Creed Rogue

Roll, Boys, Roll! From Assassins Creed IV Black Flag

I hope you enjoy those. Do you have any song recommendations guys? Doesn't have to be sea shanties :)

Well I hope you all have a day. I am off to continue my day as I have DND later (how exciting!).
