Review for DC's Justice League

Hi everyone,

I watched Justice league the other day and thought I would review it for you guys. I am much more of a Marvel fan rather than DC, however out of the DC movies I’ve seen I actually did enjoy this movie. I’m more of a fan of the Shazam/Black Adam stuff they got going on right now but for classic DC this was pretty good.

The movie starts out with you finding out SuperMan is dead (which was probably a follow on from the SuperMan movie I most definitely haven’t seen), and then BatMan does his BatMan thing of brooding in shadows and flinging bad guys (well one bad guy). I am proud to say I could tell it was about to be BatMan’s introduction just based off the overall vibe of the scene. He hangs the bad guy off a building and the guys like “what do you want? Arhhh” (no he’s not a pirate I was trying to depict a scream, because he’s hanging off a building at this point) and BatMans all like “Fear", and the guys like “what???”, then we see this giant bug thing and BatMan’s all like “hmmm this can’t be good” and I think he got hit?? Honestly I don’t remember the rest of that scene lol. Any way we find out over the course of the next introductions (which of all I could guess the hero before it was “revealed”) these bug things are some sort of invasion and I have something very exciting about this movie I liked.

THIS Flash was listening to K-pop, more specifically BLACKPINK. It was very minor and unless you knew the song you wouldn’t have even noticed but I did and it was great. AND this Flash is awkward and doesn’t really like people and is just excited to meet the superheroes and I have to say-WHY WASN’T THE SHOW ABOUT THIS FLASH?? I feel if the Flash show was about this Flash I would’ve liked it even more, not to say I don’t like the other Flash though. He does have his own movie (I think) so I shall watch that at some point (and shall review).

Moving onto the plot of this movie, there is some sort of ancient demon? God? Random Minotaur? I don’t know who he was but he wanted to turn Earth into a hell? I’m not sure it was some hell like realm or something. Anyway these bug things were his minions and over the course of the movie the superheroes work together and reanimate dead SuperMan (sadly he was not a zombie, which is what I was hoping for), and defeat the Minotaur thing.

Oh and what is it with AquaMan that is beyond annoying??? Like he spends almost all his screen time either pulling strange faces, removing his shirt, or flipping his long hair constantly. He barely even does anything except just kind of sit around. His superhero is such a cool concept but just I don’t know, it’s just strange. I’ve watched his movie too and let me tell you now, unless you want to stare at a half naked AquaMan flinging his hair and just posing for two hours I do not recommend. There wasn’t much of a plot other than “this is happening for no reason other than we say it’s happening”. But yeah I’m not an AquaMan fan. Comic AquaMan is a thousand times better lol.

A Wonder Woman DEAR LORD PUT SOME LONGER PANTS ON! AND WHAT IS IT WITH EVERYONE REMOVING THIER SHIRT?!? LIKE I DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOUR CHEST OR YOUR LEGS, I WANT TO SEE YOU FIGHT SOMEONE (or Flash listen to K-pop) OR SOME WITTY JOKES HAPPENING TAKING DIGS AT SUPERMAN OR BATMAN (Thank you ALFRED).

Also this may be just me but during the movie it seemed like BatMan may be in love with SuperMan. I can’t remember why I came to the conclusion to begin with during the movie but it seemed like BatMan is in love with SuperMan and SuperMan is too busy being SuperMan to notice lol. I want to watch SuperMan VS BatMan now just to further my theory. I mean literally SuperMan was like “ha you revived me from the dead because you do like me” (in a platonic way) and BatMan was just all sputtery like “I don’t...I don’t like you pffff” It was kind of glossed over and we moved on very quick from that but I was eyebrow raise “this is further proving my point”.

Anyway DC this is to you, please let BatMan and SuperMan be boyfriends. Or if SuperMan isn’t interested give BatMan a boyfriend. He’s very lonely. Even Alfred said BatMan needs to get a date lol. I would literally pay you to make this happen (not that I have much money by your standards.) #GiveBatManABoyfriend

Well anyway I think that covered the movie and my theories that really had nothing to do with the plot.
