Eternals

Hello my dear friends (and random people on the internet),

===ETERNAL SPOILERS ARE BELOW-PROCEED WITH CAUTION===

Today I watched a fairly new marvel movie-Eternals. I have heard it has a reputation among fellow marvel fans as one of the worst marvel movies. Why is that you ask? To be honest I don’t know, as personally I really enjoyed it. Now I wouldn’t go as far as to say it was the best marvel movie ever (Thor: Ragnarok still holds that title for me) but it was definitely not the worst one I have watched.

I don’t understand why this movie is so unpopular. I saw not a lot of difference between this and the other marvel movies. One reason I have heard is that it is confusing with going backwards and forwards in time. While yes they did that I don’t feel it was done in a confusing way at all. It put a clear message up when the time was different not to mention it looked drastically different. I also thought it had a great storyline with the celestial beings and that plot twist with Icarus was surprising (I don’t know if I spelt his name right). Not to mention I personally loved the new superheroes of the Eternals and I think they are great new characters to add.

And they had a diverse array of characters, plenty of the superheroes were female which was great, people from different ethnicities not to mention a 100% non-disputable gay man, which I personally think it is pretty awesome to have a more diverse array of characters. I think they should of been represented long ago in these movies but at least they are doing it now. Any way those were my thoughts. I have not read up about this movie this just based off the fact that people I know personally have told me it is the worst marvel movie ever (according to them-it is a popular opinion). I am basing my opinions off the movie only I am not sure what anyone else said.
